Hi can you help me,

My Father is very much dependant uon his Rascal, he is totaly housbound without it and uses it every day to walk his dog. Yesterday whils out he was caught in a severe downppour, it may have been a coincidence but his rascal stopped about 1/2 hour later. I have looked at the machine using the manual, in an attept to fault find. The syptoms are, batteries charged, ingition turns on lights and horn work but drive not functioning. When the ignition is turned on a buzzing noise which I believe is from the brake/ free wheel lever at the back of the scooter , if engaged into drive the buzzing continues. I thought it may be the circuit braker fuse needing to be reset. but this does nothing and if i discinect one of the leads to the CB Fuse the buzzing stops so I imagine the CB Fuse is OK. Any help greatly appreciated.
