My Father is very much dependant uon his Rascal, he is totaly housbound without  it and uses it every day to walk his dog.  Yesterday whils out he was caught in a severe downppour, it may have been a coincidence but his rascal stopped about 1/2 hour later.  I have looked at the machine using the manual, in an attept to fault find.  The syptoms are, batteries charged, ingition turns on lights and horn work but drive not functioning.  When the ignition is turned on a buzzing noise which I believe is from  the brake/ free wheel lever at the back of the scooter , if engaged into drive the buzzing continues. This will ensure your Scooter is operating at its full potential and also if you have a warranty in place it will highlight any parts that may be faulty and therefore may not be covered under your warranty hence saving you a callout fee.
